Mission
To positively engage children, young people, women, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups through sustained, easily accessible and inclusive sport, arts and cultural creative activities as platforms for fostering community orientation, social skills, leadership experience and education needed to realise a new Zimbabwe whose citizens are healthy, crime averse and engaged in productive initiatives across various spheres of endeavour.

the Team
Martin is the Founder and Director of Tambai Zimbabwe who has been deeply involved in using sport as a tool for development for over 30 years, with particular focus on empowerment through sport. An avid sport management professional, volleyball coach and social entrepreneur, Martin is determined to make Tambai Zimbabwe a reputable player in development, by creating more opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to get involved, explore their limitless boundaries, and attain the best possible version of themselves all the while remaining humble and ready to serve.
Kudzai is a Child Protection and Safeguarding expert with over 15 years’ experience in the provision of social protection interventions in both urban and rural settings. A former national volleyball team athlete and captain, Kudzai is a pioneer youth leader of Tambai Zimbabwe’s sport and life skills development programmes, current Zimbabwe national under-20 women’s national volleyball team coach and sits on the Tambai Zimbabwe Board of Trustees where she is responsible for facilitating the holistic transformation of young people and their communities through psychosocial support-based programming.
