Why work with me?
I have over two decades of work experience in a number of fields but primarily in sustainable development, peacebuilding and learning.
I have worked in the non-profit sector for more than two decades with expertise in: Girls/Women's Empowerment, Project and Events Management, Gender, Peacebuilding, Facilitation, Learning, Capacity Building and Development; and Mentoring.
Back in my home country Nigeria and internationally, I have worked extensively within civil society to advance causes for girls and women at both the national and state levels.I am a Bachelor of Science graduate of Computer Science from the University of Benin, Nigeria, a Masters in Arts graduate of Sustainable Peace in the Contemporary World and a Doctoral Student of Peace and Conflict Studies both from the UN Mandated University of Peace, Costa Rica. My research interests focus on the use of unconventional ways of bringing women from different sides of rural violent conflict together to promote peacebuilding. I also have research interests in the concepts of masculinity and participatory grassroots governance.
I am certified as a Learning and Development Professional with the Global Skill Development Council and also the convener of Kabilun Africa Think Tank (KATT), an exciting endeavour to promote thought leadership, policy advocacy and sustainable change for the Africa we deserve.
